Fomwork water stoppers (also called water barrier nuts) are used in water retaining structures. It is cast into the concrete wall between two separate tie bars/tie rods. After pouring, tie rods are removed, and the water barrier remains in situ. We can produce the water stopper according to your tie rod thread sizes and specifications.
Fomwork tie rod water stopper is a crucial component used in concrete construction to prevent water from penetrating through the tie rod holes in formwork systems. It is particularly important in structures exposed to water or moisture, such as basements, water tanks, retaining walls, and other subgrade or water-retaining structures.
The formwork water stopper is used between two separate tie rods. When the tie rods are removed after the concrete poured, the water stopper is remained in the concrete to prevent water come into the wall. The surface can be black or galvanized, it depends on customers’ requirement. Meantime we can make new mould based on customers’ drawing.
